This Pre-K Interim Progress Report is meant to serve as an additional tool to monitor students in between the formal assessments/progress monitoring, which require a tool from the Commissioner’s List of Approved Assessments, such as CIRCLE Progress Monitoring, Frog Street AIM, etc. Please keep in mind that your first priority is to use one of the approved tools as required by the State for data reporting into ECDS.
The skills found in this progress report focus on Letter Knowledge, Math, Fine Motor, Early Writing, and Social and Emotional. The correlating Texas Pre-K Guidelines (TPGs) are listed under each skill domain to ensure alignment to State requirements. *While there is not a TPG related to color recognition, it is an important skill that we – as Pre-K teachers – do want to assess. This Progress Report does assess the skill; however, it is noted that there is not a correlating TPG. Here is a sneak preview of the first page:
