David Bedford
David Bedford is the Associate Director at ESC 15. He has been employed by the ESC for 9 years, serving in several roles as school leadership specialist, then coordinator of school leadership department, before becoming the associate director. Prior to coming to the ESC, David was the secondary principal at Bronte. During his career he has taught all math grade levels from 7th through 12th grades, but Algebra II and Pre-Calculus were his favorite. David also coached for 15 years as mainly football and track, but also coached basketball. He graduated with a bachelor’s of science from Abilene Christian University, earned a master’s in school administration from Sul Ross University, and superintendency from Angelo State University.

Dr. Michael Bohensky
Michael Bohensky is currently the School Improvement Coordinator and Texas Instructional Leadership Lead at ESC 15. Michael Bohensky is a graduate of Angelo State University and has nearly 30 years in public education. Roles have included English teacher, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent.

Dr. Stephanie Free
Stephanie Free is an Educational Specialist in the department of school improvement. Before joining Region 15, Stephanie worked at Houston Baptist University as an assistant professor in the Educational Leadership department. She has 31 years of public education experience working in Lubbock ISD and San Angelo ISD. Stephanie has experience as a physical education and special education teacher, at-risk coordinator, middle school assistant principal, principal (elementary, 9th grade center, and high school), executive director of schools and school improvement, and executive director of special programs ( special education and 504). She earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree from Lubbock Christian University, A Master of Educational Leadership from Angelo State University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University.

Mrs. Shakeah Hoffman
Shakeah Hoffman serves as a School Leadership Specialist at Region 15 ESC, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in education through Texas Instructional Leadership and School Improvement. Her journey in the field began as a dedicated educator, where she spent nine years teaching both general and special education at Miles ISD. Transitioning into a Diagnostician role at TLCA (Texas Leadership), Shakeah quickly ascended to the position of District Special Education Director, where she served for over two years. Her passion for educational leadership led her to assume the role of Assistant Superintendent of Academics at TLCA, further solidifying her commitment to fostering academic excellence. Shakeah's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters of Education in Special Education with Educational Leadership and Superintendent certifications from Angelo State University.

Randy Gartman
Randy started his educational career as a 7-12 science teacher. In 2006 he moved into administration and has served as a Principal at Elementary, Middle School and High School. He joined Region 15 ESC in 2019 working in School Improvement and Accountability.

Rob Hollis
Rob Hollis is an Educational Specialist in the department of School Improvement, Texas Instructional Leadership, and Texas Tutoring. Before joining Region 15, Rob worked at Shallowater ISD as the High School Principal. He has 25 years of public education experience working in Texico ISD, Muleshoe ISD, and Shallowater ISD. Rob has experience as a physical education and secondary biology teacher, head coach/AD, high school assistant principal, and high school principal. He left public education for 16 years where he served as Senior Pastor. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University, A Master of Educational Leadership from University of Texas at Pan American.

Ryan Knickerbocker
Ryan Knickerbocker is a School Leadership Specialist for Region 15 ESC and is responsible for supporting school districts in the areas of school improvement and implementing best practices through Texas Instructional Leadership. Ryan has 17 years of public education experience working in Ballinger ISD, Frisco ISD, and Bangs ISD. He has served as a high school principal, middle school assistant principal, and secondary teacher and coach. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science from Howard Payne University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Cindy Lee
Cindy Lee is an Educational Specialist in the departments of School Improvement and Texas Instructional Leadership at ESC Region 15. Before joining the ESC 15 team in 2019, Cindy had been in education for 36 years. She taught at the elementary and middle school levels for thirteen years, and was an elementary principal for twenty-three years. Cindy earned her Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Education Degree at Angelo State University.

Paula Ringo
After working in the education field as a teacher, counselor, and junior high principal, Paula Ringo retired in May, 2013. Since then, she has also served for a year as a classroom teacher, and then began work as a contract Professional Service Provider (PSP). She participated in the pilot PSP program in Region 18 for a year before joining the Region 15 staff in 2019 as a Capacity Builder, which is her current position.

Robin Graves
Robin Graves is the Director of Federal Programs and Administrative Services at the Education Service Center Region 15 in San Angelo, TX, where she has worked for the past eight years supporting campus and district leadership. Robin is a former secondary math teacher and secondary principal.

Lindsay Carr
Lindsay is a leadership specialist at Region 15 ESC. She began her career in education 14 years ago as a science teacher and coach at Frenship ISD, then physics and biology teacher and head coach at Miles ISD, biology teacher at San Angelo Central Freshman Campus, followed by 5 years as an elementary principal at San Angelo ISD. Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from Angelo State University and Master of Arts in Instruction and Curriculum with certifications from Angelo State University.

Sharon Lane
Sharon Lane’s role at Region15 is as a School Leadership Specialist supporting campus and district leaders. She has been with Region 15 for three years. Before joining Region 15, Sharon was in Pharmaceutical Sales for 16 years. Knowing that education was her true passion, she left sales and joined the world of education. Sharon taught Teen Leadership, then ELAR in middle school, then served as an assistant principal and elementary school principal. Sharon graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors of Science and received her Masters in Special Education and Administrative certificate from Angelo State University.

Lela Taubert
Lela Taubert is a Leadership Specialist, responsible for supporting school districts and campuses in the areas of school improvement, implementing best practices through Texas Instructional Leadership, Texas Tutoring and Teacher Incentive Allotment support. Before joining Region 15, Lela worked in Miles ISD, Abernathy ISD, served as a school board member for Cotton Center ISD (7 years), Hale Center ISD, and El Campo ISD. Lela has served as a middle school and junior college teacher, district curriculum coordinator, ESC school improvement specialist, elementary (PK-5) principal, and secondary (7-12) principal. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, a Master of Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University, and a Superintendent's Certification from Lubbock Christian University.
